I got these cute containers for $1 at Target. Perfect for holding gift cards.
I got the cellophane and ribbon from our local craft store.
More gift card containers... I always make sure to give Christmas pencils to any school-aged gift recipient...(it's the teacher in me!)
More from Target...these are for boys...
The wrapping paper I chose this year- very vintagey! I love it! $3.99/roll from Marshalls and I have leftovers for next year!
Our family room painting is finally done, my shopping/wrapping is complete, our Christmas cards are here, the decorations are up, the tree is trimmed, and I'm ready to enjoy a quiet, restful, prayerful Advent from here on out!
We were actually able to live this out in a very real way when our power went out on Wednesday night due to a big thunderstorm. At first I was super annoyed by the inconvenience, but as I enjoyed a glass of wine with our take-out Chipotle dinner, I was filled with a sense of joy looking at "my boys" in the dim of our Advent candles.
I love this season.
Have a great weekend!

Those are so pretty! My mom has the most amazing knack for wrapping a gift. Martha Stewart would hire her in a heart beat!
Remember your candles you pulled out of the attic last year?!
I am totally stealing your idea to wrap gift cards! I have the time to be creative this year!!!!
I'm so jealous your done, I keep thinking my shopping is over then I remember one more person!
Haha yes Patty! Those were pretty crazy candles! Jelly, I remembered yesterday that I forgot my husband's secretary! Oops, one more to wrap! Yippee! :)
Omgosh! I hate to wrap but you make it look so wonderful! I would hire someone to wrap all my gifts...But instead I shove them in bags. :)-
So pretty!
I pretty much want to be you. :)
I love wrapping too!! :) Thanks for the ideas...I never know what to do about gift cards.
I nominated you for the coveted Liebster award:) Love your packaging. Everything you do is always so elegant and attractive looking.
Beautiful! And great ideas. I don't really buy for many people so I don't really think too much about wrapping.. plus we'll be doing the little shopping we have to do post-Christmas! That's about the only positive to not being with family for the holidays!
So sorry you lost power! We did not, thankfully. And we were right in the heart of that storm apparently.
I love that ribbon! Darn-we have no Marshals. Your packages look so perfect.
Beautiful. No - you're not the only one! I love wrapping with beautiful papers and ribbons too.
I love the ways you wrap even the simplest presents. Beautiful! Just Beautiful!!! I would never think of going to Target and finding the bins ... or boxes ... or ribbon. Unfortunately, I'm like Sew and go for the gift bags. :-)
You are so crafty! I love all your projects and am glad to be back on the blogs!
